QUICK TIPS:

  • Think about what you’d like to share and create a 30-90 second video
  • Film your video horizontally
  • Best lighting is natural lighting in a bright room. Lamps placed near you on either side/front of you will help brighten your face without casting shadows
  • No matter the background – don’t aim the camera toward the ceiling – it should be at least at – or slightly higher than eye level
  • The best shot is head and shoulders with the computer/phone camera at eye level so you are looking directly into the camera and close enough that you can be heard over your speaker
